IP: Use at an assay dependent concentration. Use at a concentration of 15 - 20 µl of gel slurry per 0.1 to 0.5 ml of protein lysate or extract.

Affinity purified antibodies were coupled to agarose beads using a cyanogen bromide method.

Concentration

Buffer System

50% suspension in 50% glycerol with 10mM sodium phospFlagte, 150mM sodium chloride, pH 7.4, containing 0.02% (w/v) sodium azide.

Provided as 2ml of slurry (1ml gel + 1ml buffer). Antibody is attached to the gel at a ratio of NLT 7.5mg antibody/ml of gel of 50% slurry.

Description

The DYKDDDDK peptide (Flag tag) is a small component of an epitope which does not appear to interfere with the bioactivity or the biodistribution of the recombinant protein. It has been used extensively as a general epitope tag in expression vectors.
